What services will the National Service Centre (NSC) provide?
The PPS Register is an online register. The NSC provides support to users who are unable to transact online, have difficulty while transacting online or who may require general information about the register. The NSC can be contacted by email at enquiries@ppsr.gov.au or by calling 1300 007 777.
When is the National Service Centre (NSC) open?
The NSC is open 7 days a week, excepting 25 December and 1 January. To view our operating hours please go to the Contact Us page.
How do I report a fault with the Register?
To report a technical issue, please download and fill out the PPSR Incident Report Form and email it to enquiries@ppsr.gov.au with the subject “Incident.”

What are the fees to transact on the Register?
The fees to transact on the PPS Register are available on the Fees page.
Is there a surcharge for using a credit card?
The PPS Register will not charge any additional fees for transacting by credit card.
What credit cards are accepted?
VISA, MasterCard and American Express (AMEX) are accepted.
Will refunds be given if a registration is discharged early?
No. The PPS Act does not allow for refunds if a registration is discharged early.
Can I retrieve my search result from the PPS Register at a later date?
Yes, you are able to retrieve your search result online at a later date if you retain your search number from the original search. You will only receive the same information as when you first conducted the search. The PPS Register does not search again. If it was a motor vehicle search, and you received information from the National Exchange of Vehicle and Driver Information Service (NEVDIS), you will not receive this information when you retrieve the search result at a later time.
How do I become a credit customer on the PPS Register?

How often will I receive my account statement?
If you are a credit account customer you will receive your account statement by email on the first working day of each month.
How do I increase my credit limit?
If you require an increase to your credit limit you will need to submit a request in writing to enquiries@ppsr.gov.au including the following details:

How do I create a secured party group on the PPS Register?

How do I determine the correct roles and permissions to provide my staff?
If you have a multi-user account, you can (through customised groups) tailor what actions the users within the account may perform on the PPS Register. A fact sheet titled "Setting up permissions in a multi-user account" provides guidance as to how to do this.
What is a User Reference?
The 'User reference' is an optional field and is for your internal identification of that person. The PPS Register does not use this field at all. (For example you might use the user reference field for an identification number, initials or a nickname).

How do I assign the Find and Claim function to my users?
The Find and Claim permission is assigned in the same way that all permissions are assigned. A factsheet titled "Setting up permissions in a multi-user account" provides guidance as to how to do this.
What happens if someone else has claimed a Secured Party Group which I believe is mine?
The document called "Find & Claim Migrated Registrations Disputed Claim Procedure (Following Registration Comme`ncement Time)" outlines a voluntary process you could follow.
I would like to change my billing address – how do I do this?
The mailing address can be changed in the Manage Account Customer screen in your PPS Register account.
