ASIC data change - ACN/ABN (10 May 2012)

List of migrated ASIC satisfied charges (3 May 2012)
Approximately 38 000 satisfied charges (now called 'security interests') appear on the PPS Register as current, when in fact they were satisfied before 30 January 2012, and should not appear as current security interests. A charge appearing in this list is satisfied and is not a current security interest, even if the PPS Register says it is current.
A software solution to the change the status of these satisfied charges in the PPS Register, so they do not show as current security interests, has been developed, and is expected to be processed in the PPS Register during the week starting May 14th 2012. This process will discharge all registrations so they appear satisfied in the PPS Register, which includes sending a Verification Statement to all claimed registrations.

Post migration address for service changes: Approved form (3 April 2012)
In response to concerns from some stakeholders about the impact of the requirements for giving individual notifications under section 157 of the PPS Act regarding certain post-migration address of for service changes, the Registrar has amended the Personal Property Securities (Approved Form) Instrument 2011 to provide for an alternative form of notification in certain circumstances.
The amending instrument also deals with an approved form for applying for the reissue of verification statements. Missing find and claim registrations (9 March 2012)
This document outlines two reasons why certain registrations that were identified in the pre-RCT Find and Claim report may not be located using the registration number provided in that report.

ASIC has published a list of approximately 6000 charges that were on the ASIC Register of Company Charges but were not migrated to the PPSR due to technical issues arising in the migration. See the ASIC website for more details.
