Your account security
When you create an account, you will be asked to create a password and complete questions only you can answer. If you later can’t remember your password and need to reset it, the system will ask for your answers to these questions.
Only you and the account administrator can see your secret questions and answers. It is useful to have multiple account administrators so you have more than one person to help your users.
Password requirements
- Your password must have 9 – 50 characters/digits
- Your password must include:
- At least one lowercase letter (a-z)
- At least one uppercase letter (A-Z)
- At least one number (0-9)
- At least one symbol/ special character (? . , ! _ - ~ $ % + =)
- You cannot use any of your previous 8 passwords
- Your password must be reset/changed at least every year to meet security requirements
If you are an account administrator and need assistance, see the help for administrators section below.
If you enter the wrong password five times, your account access will be locked.
