We are well into 2017 and—as always—our stakeholder engagement and collaboration continues to be key to our PPSR operations.
In January this year, we invited B2G users to complete a survey and share with us how they are using the system and also to alert us to any issues or suggestions. One message we received was that B2G users wanted more communication from us and this is an area we will continue to focus on in coming months.
Our ongoing engagement activities with stakeholders confirms a continuing appetite for PPSR support tools and education. In fact, we continue to receive requests for PPSR seminars and training across Australia. Similarly, our information multipliers, such as accountants, lawyers and business advisors, regularly request PPSR training tools to assist them to deliver PPSR seminars to their small business clients.
In response to this valuable feedback, I’m pleased to announce the launch of our new PPSR Plug ’n Play presentation. This is a pre-recorded version of our popular ‘introductory level’ PPSR presentation, conducted by our PPSR Stakeholder Engagement Adviser at conferences and seminars nationwide.
Based on the PPSR small business guide – Are you in business?, the presentation uses plain English and cartoon imagery to help convey important PPSR legal concepts and terminology. The presentation runs for just under 10 minutes and covers the key things that small business needs to know.
