Secured party group registration activity report

The secured party group (SPG) registration activity report provides information about the types of registration transactions for an SPG in a given period of time.

If you are an authorised user, you will have the permissions allowing you to produce an SPG registration activity report.

Why generate this report?

This report can provide a list of of registrations that have been amended or discharged over a specific time period, allowing you to investigate/review/report

Data limitations

The data for this report is extracted from the PPSR reporting database. The data provided is up until the end of the previous day and is not available for the day on which the report is generated.

Requesting a report

Log into the PPSR to access the reports list page.

Go to the reports tab and click request a report.

Step 1: Request a report

Request the ‘Secured party group registration activity’ report.

Select report format (CSV or XML).

Enter the email address you require the report notification to be sent to.

Click next.

Step 2: Report parameters

Select the report parameters. You can choose some or all of the following parameters:

  • Secured party group
  • Enter secured party group number and group access code
  • Date range

A 36 day maximum period applies for this report.

Transaction type

If you click selected transaction types, you will be asked to select from registrations created, amended or discharged, and from registrations transfer single, all or multiple.

Collateral type

Consumer, commercial or unknown.

Collateral class

If you click selected classes, you will be asked to select from the usual collateral classes on the PPSR.

Next, click sort by and select how you would like the data to be sorted. You can sort using the following options:

  • Change number
  • Collateral class
  • Collateral type
  • Is migrated
  • Is transitional
  • Transaction type
  • *sub-sort by change number

Click next.

Step 3: Payment (if applicable)

No payment required.

Step 4: Confirmation

You will see your report number and a summary of the details you entered.

Your report is available from the reports list page for seven days. Click on the report number and go to the reports list page.

Reports list

Here you can filter according to the report you wish to see or download.

Click on the report number. You will see a CSV or XML file that you can open and download.

This report will provide you with the following information:

  • Secured party group number
  • Organisation name
  • User ID
  • Transaction type
  • Transaction fee
  • Is access restricted
  • Is archived
  • Is removed
  • Registration number
  • Registration kind
  • Collateral type
  • Collateral class
  • Is migrated
  • Is transitional
  • Registration start date and time (AEST)
  • Registration end date and time (AEST)
  • Change number
  • Change date and time(AEST)
  • Giving of notice identifier
  • Serial number and serial number type
  • Grantors
  • Client billing reference
