Using your Registration template

Registration templates can be used by authorised account users to simplify the registration process by pre-selecting details, such as the collateral type, the secured party group number, collateral class or the grantor.

Templates must be selected at the start of the registration process and will pre-fill any details included in the template.

There are two ways to create a registration from a template, the first part of this page will outline how to create a registration from the create a registration page and the second part of the page will outline how to create a registration from the find template page.

Creating a registration using a template from the Create a registration page.

Step 1: Start Application.

Select the template name from the drop down box found under the template heading.

Once the needed template is selected, click Use template.

Note: If you cannot see this template box, please contact your system administrator for permission.

Step 2: Registration Details

Enter any remaining details for your registration, like any serial numbers or grantor details.

Tip: If there are details which are included in the template, these can be edited during the registration process if needed.

Step 3: Application review page.

Once you have entered all of the details for your registration you will be taken to the review screen.

Review the onscreen registration content and edit if necessary.

Optional: Enter a Client billing reference, this reference will appear on the Tax invoice/Receipt.

The fee for your registration is also shown on this screen.

Click Next to finalise your registration.

Creating a registration using a template from the Find Template page.

Step 1: Search for your template.

You can search for your template using the template number that would have been provided when the template was created.

Alternatively you can also search for the template by choosing a status. Eg Active, Pending and Deleted

Select your criteria and click Find.

The page will display all templates matching the criteria.

Step 2: Start new registration

Select the template you want to use from the list, and select the Start new registration button from the bottom of the page.

This will take you to the Start application page with the registration template pre-selected.

Step 3: Registration Details

Enter any remaining details for your registration, like any serial numbers or grantor details.

Tip: If there are details which are included in the template, these can be edited during the registration process if needed.

Step 4: Application review page.

Once you have entered all of the details for your registration you will be taken to the review screen.

Review the onscreen registration content and edit if necessary.
