The Registrar of PPS is appointed by the Attorney-General and engaged under the Public Service Act 1999. The Registrar administers the Personal Property Securities Register (PPSR) in compliance with the Personal Property Securities Act 2009 (PPS Act) and Regulations (PPS Regulations).
The Registrar has the power to do all things necessary or convenient to be done in connection with the performance of his or her functions.
