Registrar's Notice - Scheduled Maintenance
Arrangements when PPS Register is unavailable
Section 147 of the Personal Property Securities Act 2009 provides that the Registrar is able to refuse access to the Personal Property Securities (PPS) Register or otherwise suspend the operation of the PPS Register, in whole or part, if the Registrar considers that it is not practical to provide access to the PPS Register. The Registrar may also suspend the operation of the PPS Register for any reason with at least seven days prior notice.
Scheduled routine maintenance is advised by the Registrar through a message on the PPS Register website (see below).
If the PPS Register is unavailable due to an unscheduled outage the Registrar will advise through a message on the PPS Register website homepage.
Should the PPS Register website be unavailable, messages will be posted to the Australian Financial Security Authority website at www.afsa.gov.au.
Any unscheduled unavailability of the PPS Register will be treated with urgency and fixed as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
PPS Register unavailable on Thursday evenings
The Personal Property Securities (PPS) Register is scheduled for routine maintenance every Thursday and is unavailable during this time. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Scheduled maintenance every Thursday evening.
Start: 10:00 pm and extend to 1:00 am (Friday) - Canberra time.
